High gloss panels are being used more and more in the design community. They are the material of choice when trying to create a modern, contemporary aesthetic in interior furnishing design because they are durable, come in a wide variety of colors and finishes and are less costly than their painted MDF rivals. High gloss panels are available in solid colors and woodgrain finishes. High gloss panels typically use MDF as the core and the latest technology uses PET film as the decorative layer that provides the brilliant finish. Some high gloss panels have a glossy finish on one side only, others have a 2 sided glossy finish.
